Rule 22
<br> regarding laboratory establishment and operation permit
To establish and operate a seed laboratory in the private sector, the following procedure should be followed:-
(a) Any person or organization wishing to establish and operate a laboratory in the private sector shall apply to the committee for permission in accordance with schedule-11,
(b) The receipt of payment of two thousand rupees to the center should be attached with the application as per clause (a),
(c) When making an application according to clause (a), the machinery, equipment, chemicals, manpower and physical infrastructure mentioned in Schedule-11 should have been completed,
(2) If the procedure as per sub-rule (1) is completed, the committee may issue a permit as per Schedule-12 for the operation of the laboratory.
(3) If it is found that the laboratory which has received a permit according to sub-rule (2) does not comply with the conditions mentioned in the permit during the operation of the laboratory, the committee shall cancel the permit of such laboratory and give a notice as per schedule-13.
